Jaired Rodmaker

A native of Bend, Oregon, Jaired brings a practical, failure-focused eye to test and simulation work. Before joining Pre he cofounded a commercial coffee equipment repair business, where he catalogued the most common failure modes in the field and kept an inventory of pre-repaired parts so Central Oregon’s coffee shops were never down for long — the same instinct for what actually breaks now goes into shake table programs and finite element models. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Portland State University and is an Engineer in Training. Outside the office Jaired competes in pickleball tournaments around Oregon, and is equally at home on a soccer pitch, a snowboard, a rock face, a tennis court or a golf course.
